Windows Phone 10

Hey guys !! . I have installed Windows phone 10 on my Lumia 630 .And will keep posting about its new features and bugs as and when a new build comes  . so lets get started

New Features in Windows 10

New Action center 

New action center comes with  a ability to expand the tabs  available . Earlier only four tabs were available now you can expand them

 Though we can not still fully change the tabs according to our preference we can only change the four tabs . Hope to see that in Future Builds .

Improvements in Notification area

With windows 10 Microsoft have done a number of improvements to notification are like

You can now select a individual message from a no. of notification from the same app and expand then to see them 

You can now also respond to a message right through the notification even if you are in some other app by just sliding down the message notification . For now it is available only for Skype and messages . Hope to see the same for third party apps like whatsapp Facebook etc .

All new Settings Menu

This is the all new settings menu for the Windows phone 10 . Menu have been updated only in terms of look and feel not much in terms of settings 

File Explorer

This is the new much needed file explorer app for windows phone 10 . It lets you to access your phone memory and also the memory Card 

Keyboard 

The Keyboard is almost the same as in windows 8.1 .The new keyboard has got a joystick like dot (red dot in pic ) for changing the cursor .when you are typing and want make changes you can go back through that dot . Microsoft showed many other improvements will showing windows 10 for phones hoping to see that in future builds 

Also text-to-speech have been improved in the keyboard 

Photos App

This the all new Photos App . In this build we have not been given access to the albums and the folder view .Will get that in future builds . Also the favorites menu have been removed. which is disappointing 

Also now in the main menu u will see the recently installed apps

Bugs in Windows 10

1. Brightness level changes automatically some times too bright some times very dull
2. Some times the Phone gets heat up 
3. Phone gets lock down . Remove the battery and again start the phone to continue 
4. Some apps are not working. Try to re install the app to make it work (for some devices )
5. Battery is draining faster
