Whatsapp notification not working on redmi 2

Hey guys !! Hope you are enjoying miui on your xiaomi devices .

One of the major problems of miui on redmi 2 is the notifications of WhatsApp and other messaging apps 

Users complaint  that they were not able to get the notifications of there messaging app

So here is the solution

Just open your recent apps menu by pressing the left touch type capacitive button

Now pull down the WhatsApp icon and you will see a lock on the icon . This means your app is locked on the phone memory and you will able to get the notifications easily
