Chinese Brands Versus Well Established Brands!

There are two types of cell phone market which are growing at the same time,
Tier A brands
Chinese brands
Well the comparison can be sub divided into advantages and dis-advantages of both:

TIER A BRANDS (Well established Brands)
Advantages over Chinese brands:
In hand feel; This is probably the biggest Advantage these brands have over Chinese brands, that is that they are available offline as well and hence the characteristics like weight, size etc can be experienced before the final purchase, which is certainly missing on Online purchased devices. This According to me is a huge factor for middle and old aged people.
After Sale Services; It might be a little delayed service with the upcoming Chinese brands, whereas it is easily available with well established brands like apple, Samsung etc.
Resale Value; This might not be important to most of you but brands like apple, Samsung, Htc have higher re sale value as compared to brands like xiaomi or Mi.
Brand Affinity; This happens with a lot of people specially one who are reluctant to change, many people for no specific reason are just addicted to one specific brand and they might not feel satisfied for making a change. For eg, someone who has been using Samsung for a while might feel comfortable with its UI and may not be willing to change to a new Chinese brand.

CHINESE BRANDS (Upcoming Brands)
Advantages over Well Established brands
Specifications; This is a huge advantage of these upcoming brands that the specifications they offer at such an aggressive price which according to me, is a huge problem certainly with mid-range devices of these established brands. For eg, the specs that is being offered by xiaomi in 15k, same will be offered by a phone from Samsung in a device which will cost around 30k. Hence these brands offer the same specifications for half a price. Also, the mid-ranged devices of established brands are still using old processors and they lack a lot on sensors and at times even the basic sensors are missing.
Price to Performance ratio; Even if the specifications of the well established brands are better, the price to performance ratio with these upcoming brands are way better. Especially if you are someone who changes devices often, these offer a good value at very low prices.

So guys, I think out of the above comparisons it’s the question that you have to answer yourself that which area suits you more,
If you are someone who is concerned about after sale services, then you might go for well established brands as they offer better after sale services. But is it really worth paying 2x the price for after sale service? Well this the question you have to be dealing with.

Thankyou
