Lately, there has been a lot of buzz about reliance's new telecom network *Jio*
Is it really as good as we feel?
The basic things we need to know :
The welcome plan:
The initial plan which will be commercialized from 5th September 2016, will include following:
These are the things you will be getting totally free till 31st December, after that you will have to convert into one of the commercial plans that reliance will offer. There are many plans available but the most appropriate 3 plans according to me are:
Plan 149- 0.3 gb (300mb) data, unlimited calls and 100 sms Free
Plan 299- 2 Gb data, unlimited calls, unlimited sms
Plan 499- 4 gb data, Unlimited calls, unlimited sms
Plan 999- 10gb data , unlimited calls , unlimited sma
Apart from these one thing that is included in all of the above plans is :
Unlimited net during night ( 2am to 5am)
After the expiry of the data limited shown above, the data will be charged at ₹50/gb.
So in order to conclude i will suggest you not to transfer your primary sim to the network initially, rather wait for the actual experiences with it.
Still its worth trying specially if you are some one who makes alot of calls and need net mostly for surfing.

- The net which so far is being called free, is free only upto 4gb/day for good speeds, after that the speed will reduce down to 128 kbps. (Though its technically unlimited)
